How Do You Get a Troumerle Puppy?
To get a troumerle puppy you need to make contact with Troumerle by telephone or e-mail. Jackie will ask you lots of questions so that she can advise you if a border collie and, specifically a Troumerle collie, is suitable for you. If Jackie feels that you may be suited to one of our dogs, we will expect you to visit, bringing anyone else from your household that will interact with the dog. You will meet all Troumerle dogs that live with us and will have the opportunity to ask questions yourself. We breed friendly, outgoing puppies with gentle natures and like to be sure that we have homed them with someone who will give them love and train them with kindness and understanding.
We breed only one or two litters per year, normally. All puppies are Kennel Club registered and we abide by Kennel Club best practice guidelines for breeders.
When a puppy leaves us at 8 weeks old to go to his new home, he leaves with an information pack that has advice on how to raise the puppy and keep him healthy. He will have his Kennel Club Registration Document and enough food for 2 weeks. The relationship does not, however, end there. We provide advice to owners throughout the dog's life if required. Our puppies are sold subject to an agreement that formalises the breeder/owner relationship. Please follow the link, below, to view this document.
